The visit to Colombia offered an opportunity to verify first hand a project that was initially presented to an international platform of scholars on the occasion of the Club of Rome meeting held in Bogota in February 1984. The vision presented was that we can reverse the present destruction of ecosystems through the regeneration of a rainforest that once thrived in the area.
